Brooklyn Scorcher IPA is a surprisingly sessionable IPA. A floral, piney aroma strikes first, followed by a burst of mouthwatering bitterness as the hops begin their attack. Suddenly, a hint of toasty malt and a clean, lively finish burst in to leave you thirsty for more. It’s ludicrously tasty, and at a reasonable 4.5%, it’s a beer you can come back to again and again.

Bottle from the work canteen/bar last week (never thought i would pick up a new tick there) :) - poured golden yellow into the plastic cup with a white head. Sweet fruity with some notes of lemon, grapefruit, straw, some sweet malty backing, piney and grassy hoppy bitter finish. Now the best beer to have at work (although not really a hard task to achieve)

At a tasting, small stable bubbly head, clear deepish yellow color, skunky light malty aroma, herbal bitterness, citrus and some paper in flavor with a metalic aftertaste. not good.

Can from Tesco I believe in Worthing. Wasn't really worth the transport back. Old hops not dealt with nicely. bad on the palate.

Clear golden beer, bubbly white head. Light citrus aroma, some bitter hop. Taste has a lemony-sweet touch up front but soon dissipates into a harsh, bitter hop taste with a metallic edge that sort of spoils something that's otherwise a decent, crisp session pale ale.
