Brooklyn Scorcher IPA is a surprisingly sessionable IPA. A floral, piney aroma strikes first, followed by a burst of mouthwatering bitterness as the hops begin their attack. Suddenly, a hint of toasty malt and a clean, lively finish burst in to leave you thirsty for more. It’s ludicrously tasty, and at a reasonable 4.5%, it’s a beer you can come back to again and again.

330ml bottle shared by djoeye. Close to clear golden body. Just a bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Mild sweaty hops on the nose, backbone of mild caramel. Pine and citrus flavours, half dry. Smooth bitter finish. Easy to drink and quite alright (session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 10.11.2015).

355 ml bottle, from REMA 1000 Tau. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy, low white head. Moderate aroma of citrussy and grassy hops. Light bodied as expected. Nice hoppy flavour (probably American hops), citrussy and herbal notes, hints of pine needles. More of an APA than a "session IPA", but there you go. Probably intended as an uncomplicated thirstquencher, and as such it fulfills its task.

Flaske 355ml fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Drukket på Bergstua. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Lavt luftig skum. God aroma av fersken & plommer. Smaken passe syrlig frukt. Litt tørr. Uvariert - men bra.

Small white head doesn’t last. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Mealy wooden resiny aroma with fruity notes. Dry wooden resiny taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy papery resiny aftertaste with spicy notes. Too dry and papery for my tastes. (0.355l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

Smell of hops, some grain. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of grain, straw, some hops. Finish is papery, also some grass. Bitter. Lively carbon, medium body. Half dry palate.

355 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a small off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma with citric fruit, grapefruit, pine and hint of malt. Flavor is light, smooth malt, citric fruit with grapefruit like aroma and surprisingly decent bitterness. It actually tastes more than less like a regular decent IPA even at just 4,5% ABV. Body is nice and balanced as well with a nice and bitter aftertaste. Solid work.

Bottle. A minimal sized off-white head forms over an unclear orange colored body. Very resiny, lightly grassy and orangey aroma, more or less no malts. Some malty sweetness in the mouth, but it’s mostly on the dry side, with a good dash of resins and pine cones, some orange and a touch of bread. Nice bitterness too, lasting for a good while. Oranges and resins too in the finish. Quite nice this one, drinks easy too. 151003

Bottle from local market, Riihimäki. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Pine, fruits, hops, dryness and malts. Dry drinkable ale but boring.
