7th Feb 2017: on a flight at the Long Beach brewery. Amber bronze pour, the head an off-white affair. My sweet tooth took to this immediately: the aroma setting the stall out with caramel and toffee coated plum like smells. The taste was also a mixture of fruits covering in malty molasses with just enough hop content to stop the sweetness becoming too syrupy or coying. Most likely my favourite of all the beers sampled at the Long Beach Beachwood brewery that day.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a dark ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel and toffee aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty caramel, toffee and dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

On tap. Pours with a clear bronze hued body and an off-white head. Aromas are nutty and toasty with a big malt backing that seems a bit munich like. Raisins, plums and some other dark fruit esters. Some alcohol. Flavors are medium sweet, and malty, candi sugar, alcohol, pear and currants. Finishes dry, but with a good amount of alcohol-sweetness.

Draft. Mahogony beer with a cream head. Light roast and yeast aroma with malt. Malt and yeast flavor with alcohol. Medium bodied. Malt and yeast lingers with alcohol. Want a little less alcohol and a little more of somethign else.
