Al naso l'aroma rimanda a caffè, cioccolato e marron glacé. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è persistente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca e agrumi.

0.33 l bottle, thanks to my GF for bringing this over from Switzerland. Pours jet black with thin, persistent beige head. Aroma is comprised of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and cocoa. Taste is roasted and coffee notes mainly, with some faint fruits. Closes with long lasting bitter coffee finish, has light, somewhat creamy mouthfeel and average carbo. Cool schwarzbier.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle from the brewery, pours deep black with a small beige head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, toffee, liquorice, hints of smoke & roasted malt. Moderate body. Short finish

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a thick black with moderate sized beige head. Aroma of coffee, liquorice, roasted malt, caramel; some sweetness hinted at but suggestions it could be quite rich for a lager. Taste follows aroma, deep and flavourful, not overly rich but not your average sessionable dark lager either. Medium bodied, oily, soft carbonation, drying. I like it.

almost black colour, medium sized, creamy and long lasting brownish-beige head; aroma of intensive cocoa powder and chocolate, toasted rye bread, some roasted sunflower seeds, hints of prune and ash notes; taste of intensive burnt woody-nutty bitterness (over-roasted peanuts and sunflower seeds), burnt plum jam and syrupy sweetness; not bad

Aus der Flasche im 2014-06 getrunken. Dieses Schwarzbier kann gut und gerne als ein ausgewogenes, süffiges Stout durchgehen. Lecker!

Gracias a anstei con motivo del Euro Swap 1/2019
Color negro con espuma de color tostado, buena duración y algo de encaje. Aroma a maltas tostadas, levemente caramelo quemado, y regaliz. Sabor ligeramente amargo, maltas asadas, notas torrefactas y regaliz. Final con leve dulzor, muy maltosa, notas torrefactas. Muy buena.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma media grana color cappuccino evanescente, colore nero, al naso è piacevole tende al dolce caffè cacao, in bocca malto tostato caffè cioccolato al latte e come da descrizione un po' il mirtillo si sente, watery, carbonazione leggera, corpo leggero, amaro leggero. Ben fatta. Una buona birra. 05.05.18

Shaed at a tasting, thanks anstei, small stable creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of chocolate and dark bread with a charred hint, flavor of chocolate and coffee with a nice roastines, light lingering bitterness. Very nice and enjoyable.
