Eine Reise zur Hopfenernte ins Yakima Valley inspirierte unsere Interpretation des West Coast IPA mit deutschem Twist und ist speziell für „HopHeads“ gebraut. Die noch unbenannte Hopfensorte HBC 431 bringt die fruchtigen Aromen nach Orange und Mandarine ins Bier Das Zusammenspiel mit einer weiteren amerikanischen und einer deutschen Hopfensorten ergibt ein vielschichtiges Bier mit einer besonders tropisch-fruchtigen, leicht harzigen Note und einer ordentlichen Bittere. Dabei überrascht das IPA bei jedem weiteren Schluck mit immer neuen spannenden tropischen Aromen und macht einfach Lust auf mehr!

Dag 4 med Fridtjofen på slipp, Tau juli-19, og en velfortjent belønning etter 10 timer med skrogarbeid. 0,33 flaske fra Holmens importkoffert delt med skibsrederen: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Lite aroma men desto mer smak - tropiske frukter, furunål, grapefrukt og milde krydderurter. Resultatet er mersmak.

Foggy amber colour, good off-white head. Nose: pine, honey, light ale yeast, citrusy hints. Medium body. Average carbonation. Taste: bittersweet, malty start and hoppy ending. Medium minus bitterness. A middle-of-the-road old school IPA. Unfortunately not the freshest one.

Bottle picked up at Edeka, Stein Park, Freising Saturday 15th June 2019 and consumed the same day, listening to the W.H.Lung album and having just prepared some lemon chicken for the BBQ tonight. Pours copper in colour with an off white head, it has a slight haze. Good bitterness, soft carbonation, a little bittersweet combination working well, a soft sweet citrussy bite, a little soft caramel jostles with the citrus. Good.

Bottle from Braufaktum Vogteiplatz. Medium Amber, big long lasting sea foam head. From the date, should be very fresh, a month old. Berry tropical aroma. Flavor transitions to caramel, maybe a bit too much, with lightly astringent bitterness and some piney German beer notes complementing the fruity citrus tones.

330mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, with some bready notes and cardboard. Flavour is pretty old, with earthy hops, bread, and cardboard. Old and dull. Yuck.

Golden-amber, with a fairly thick head. There's a cascadey sort of piney hop note, with a decent amount of chewy malts. Balanced, lots of hop, piney, chewy, pretty old school but the hops are reasonably fresh, and it's not bad all told.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - Amber coloured pour with a white head and lacing. Citrus fruity with some grapefruit and orange notes, sweet malty support, medium body, resinous bitter hoppy close.

Draft. A dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, straw, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Amber colour, medium-sized off-white head. Aroma has light malts and caramel, earhy hops fruits and some alcohol. Overall weak nose. Light to medium-bodied. Malty, sweetish, some alcohol, pear in the flavour. Not very exicting.
