Bottle, picked up at Meisterstück, Berlin. Put in the hotel room fridge and promptly forgotten about until departure day, so this was a hasty, pre 8am rating. Pours clean, amber gold. Messy and fine, bright white head. Nose has lots of floral hop. Very perfumed, with almost a lavender note to it. Sweet biscuit and toffee malts as a backdrop. Taste is sticky and gummy sweet, with a perfumed, hop oil bitterness. Medium body. Crisp fizz. Oily bitter finish.

Bottle at Meyer, FRA airport. Pours clear amber with a medium stable head. Aroma is caramalt, piney hops, light grass and tropical fruit. Body is medium, nutty and quite sweet. Still bitter, with a lively carbonation, and an oily texture. Too much caramalt, though, quite heavy the more one drinks. Sweet caramel palate. Okay.

Pours amber from the bottle and leaves a white, finger thick frothy head that soon fades to a thin whispy layer. The aroma is overall fruity - apricot and peach being dominant, but with light caramel undertones. Taste is bittersweet, with the sweet side better developed than the thin though astringent bitter tones. A workmanlike IPA that is perfectly drinkable, but doesn’t break any new ground.
