On tap at the brewery. A bit hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, some resin and caramel. The same in the taste. The finish was quite bitter.

On tap at Booze Brothers, pours a clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank piney hops, herbal notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank resinous hops, bready malt and some pot. Rather abrasive and lacking cohesion, but it's not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with small off white head. The aroma is grapefruit and pine. Medium body, grapefruit pith, toasted malt, light bitter finish, decent.

27th May 2015: having become a Grandaddy for the first time two weeks before I had to have a pint of this: 83 Degrees in Carlsbad being the place I drank it. Clear amber pour with a wispy white head. Hop lead in the aroma and taste with mild citrus notes coming through. Good malt base with a hop content tampering down any sweetness. Mixed bag of citrus fruits in the flavour: grapefruit, oranges and semi-sour lemons. I thought this a very decent IIPA. Not subtle but not as bitter as most Southern Californian IIPA’s I have come across.

[2/21/15] Draught at Winter Brew Fest 2015 in San Diego. Slightly hazy amber with a beige head. “Green”, piney and fruity hops aroma. Sweetish malty flavor with piney and fruity hops, rather “green”, with nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice.
