Aroma is floral cucumber backed by hops, has a mellow foam and clear gold body. Flavour is good cucumber, nice balance with the lager. Medium finish. A better cucumber ale than I've usually found.

Bottled 330ml. -from Kaufland Bamberg. Yellow/pale golden coloured, minimal white head, salty cucumber in the nose. Cucumber, light salty and herbal with soft carbonation and short cucumberish finish. Interesting but no thanks again.

22nd Oct 2018, Shrewsbury Beer Sharing Group meeting. Brought my me. 330ml bottle from Germany: BB 9th May 2019. Golden, clear body, white head. It said cucumber and it wasn't lying!

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Thanks Jeremy for bringing this. Pours clear pale gold, small white topping. Strong cucumber nose, taste has an appealing cucumber laced sweetness, with light citrus and additional gooseberry and melon notes. Light and fresh with a summery feel. A cucumber beer done right.

Clear golden. Aroma is vinegar cornichons honey fruity stuff. Taste is grassy cucumber juice at first. Tart hoppy with bubbly sourness. Some honey sweetness as well. Quite aggressive and not very round. Still pleasant though. Why not.

Pours clear pale golden with a thinning, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of fresh cucumber, white pepper, breadcrust, yeast, flowers, hand soap, not too intense. It tastes medium fruity sweet, cucumber & lime with a hint of lemon, and light grassy biter, a bit grainy. Dryish, faintly grassy hoppy finish, bit grainy & bready. Light, hardly medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Enjoyable S/H/V, original & quenching, but a bit too subtle and thin.

Aus der Flasche im 2018-06 getrunken. Diese Gurken Ale hat nur eine leichtes Gurkenaroma ansonsten ist es eher ein Lager. Leicht erfrischend. Ansonsten aber auch nicht besonders erwähnenswert. Als Durstlöscher tut es seinen Dienst.

Pours just slightly hazy yellow golden, topped with thin and nonlasting white head. Gentle nose, a combination of citruses and some cucumber freshness. Taste follows, gentler bitterness with lots of cucumber character. Fresh and light bodied. Bittery aftertaste. Nicely drinkable.
