Bottle courtesy jessoj. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, notes of butter and hops.

Pours gold with a large head.Nose shows loads of grassy hops and a bit of bready malt.Flavours include a hint of lemon alongside the bready and grainy malt. Hardly any bitterness in the short-lived finish.Very watery.

Enjoyed with friends at the Globe Pub in Chicago, IL. Appearance in a beaker like glass, clear golden with no head. Aroma like a traditional German lager. Taste crisp with a light hop backing, an easy drinker, pretty good.

Pale yellow liquid with a creamy white head that sticks around very nicely for a pilsener. Some citric hops but mostly clean, sweet grains. Similar flavor, quite clean but lacks complexity. The hops are refreshing. Creamy and sudsy and manages to largely avoid watery lager territory.

12 oz bottle courtesy of bvc. Berkeley, CA on the side of the label, so I assume that’s where this one came from. Pour is clear straw golden with a perfectly white 1 1/2 inch head. Sploychy lacing lines the glass. Aroma is softly sweet cereal grain maltiness, along with nicely balanced mineral and earthy hops. Soft and fresh, nice. Taste is the nose, mildly sweet cereal grain, with a nice bite of mineral earthy hops. There is also a mild vegetal taste that detracts some. Palate is thin to medium bodied, with a nice active carbonation and a dry mineral finish. Thanks Brandon, I like this one - nice classic Pils taste.

Bottle. Very pale orange with an inch of white head. High bead. Grass and spice hop aroma with some hay. Tastes spicy and a little lemony. Little malt presence, but then again I drank this pretty cold. Quite OK as lean aperitif on a warm day. [2.8] Bottle, 10C. Hay, earth and spice aroma. Sour lager sourness and very light malt sweetness. Nice dry noble hop finish. Undemanding but pleasant.

Green bottle...Uh oh. Pours with a pale yellow body and a fluffy white head. Grassy, skunky lightstruckness, grainy, bread. Definitely not the worst pilsner I have smelled from a green bottle. Taste is harsh, metallic, light struck, bitter. Corn and bready notes. Thin and violently fizzy. Not good. Why green bottles?

33cl bottle; Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Grassy and herbal hoppy nose with a light-sweet pale malty blend. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Well-rounded malty base with a dry herbal and minimal grassy hoppy finish. Not a highlight but a drinkable Pils. 26.XI.08
