Cask at JDW Briar Rose; clear light amber pour with creamy off white head, decent pine hop aroma, taste has pine, grapefruit some caramel, probably one of the best Spoon collabs I’ve had recently. --- Beer merged from original tick of JDW California Session IPA on 01 Feb 2014 at 09:06 - Score: 7

Cask at Flying Horse, Gatwick South Terminal. It pours clear amber with medium white head. The nose is pi e, earthy, caramel, resin and juicy citrus. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine, caramel, resin, touch of grapefruit and citrus peel with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Tasty, balanced and damn drinkable. Nice work!

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. An amber pour with a loose white head; expected piney hop aroma; sweet and full of lip-smacking woody American hops; leaving a dry, zingy finish with a trace of lime. Impressive stuff.
