Viking history in Scotland goes back a thousand years. Even our brew master studied in Edinburgh, where he carefully surveyed the local brew. Our Scotch Ale is the first of its kind to use Icelandic-grown, birch-smoked barley in collaboration with Eimverk distillery in Garðabær. We then add native Icelandic Angelica, a fabled herb used by Vikings past. Our Wee Heavy is rich and hearty, with a touch of smokiness, and remains incredibly balanced. Your tastebuds have no choice but to be conquered.

Gray nice looking $2 can from vintage boardman, nice place. Wee heavy? I love the concept, lets get heavy, fricken so cool. Darker looking brew, but not quite dark brown. Mild sweet peaty nose. Taste is big bold alky laced near cloying sweetness. Somewhat rude, considering its only 8%, heheh. Quite a mouthfeel. Yes, tuff alky laced mess. Difficult in the middle, I think I'm getting dizzy, too - HAH. Yes, love the concept of a wee heavy. Diggen it. Peaty peaty drinkee. Almost volatile but its not. Big buzzy balky banal bane banished bankrupt barbaric barren baseless bullshit beer! Old country BS and thats a good old country thing and I'm not talking about the south! Thanks big E!

Pours a opaque reddish brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, barley, mild yeast. Brandy. Taste has a raisin element, earthy spice notes. Palate has much of the same on the nose, slight ferrous note, herbal. Representative of the style. ABV well masked.
