Draught Arbitrary 8/10 for appearance, due to insufficient lighting. Sweet-ish, very perfumey, floral, with a hint of wild yeast and fragrance herbs. More of the same, but with an unexpected, if nice, light sourish touch. Lemonpeel, and the Bretts are even more prominent. Other grains, musk. Medium bodied at best, but really slick, velvety. Good carbonation. Remarkable and original.

375 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant, interesting and complex aroma: notes of brettanomyces / farmhouse, dry white wine, mild spices, vanilla, hints of yellow plums and tropical fruits. Crisp and dry flavour, oak, vanilla, oaked and dry white wine, a slight acidity, mild spices, moderate but noticeable bittering hops.

Bottle, picked up at the brewery. Christ, why do some people bother drinking beer when it’s plain they’re not even too keen on the stuff? Do they think giving shit ratings to nearly everything makes out they’re in some way above others? I don’t get it. Nowt to do with me, though, other than creating a mini rant. Soft haze on a pale yellow gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has bright lemony brett notes. Vanilla. Clean oak. Citrus hoppage. Taste is dry and slightly sharp. Some pithy citrus bitterness. Clean on the palate and nicely refreshing. Fine carbonation. Crisp lemony bitterness to finish. Nice one.
