Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Burned caramel and pumpernickel in the nose - distinctly German. Medium body, sweet roast and again pumpernickel. Has a little grassy hops. Sort of a Bock light. 290911

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and light breadish. Light sweet, toasted malt and light crisp bitterness coming through. Ends roasted and light bitter.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090716]

Screw-cap bottle: Amber coloured, bigger off-white to brownish fluffy head, initial sweet dark and toasted malty nose, gives way to a distinctive aromatic hoppy aroma; moderate, clean, bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; becomes a bit dryer in the aromatic hoppy and dark-malty finish. A good beer, even by franconian standards.......

(screw cap bottle) Clear, copper colour with a dense, medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and roasty malt aroma with doughy impressions, caramel/toffee and a light herbal hoppy background. Moderately roasty, earthy and nutty malty taste with light notes of caramel and cacao; delicately roasty and moderately bitter finish with light herbal hops accents. Decent.

Malzig-süßer Antrunk, dessen Aroma im weiteren Verlauf meist alleine steht. Der minimale Hopfenton im Mittelteil ist kümmerlich, dabei wird der Malzton schwächer und hinterlässt ein wässriges Aroma. Das nun erkennbar werdene Karamellaroma wirkt muffig und ist wohl noch schlechter als einfach nur Wasser. Lascher Nachgeschmack. Test vom 11.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,6,6,9,6 - 6,65

Bottled. Reddish amber colour, mediumsized slightly offwhite head. Aroma is barnyard, earth, malts and some bready hints. Flavour is bigtime malts along with a big hoppy, dryish, finish. Long caramel and earthy aftertaste.
