Very nice for golden ale. Pours cloudy blonde with nice visuals. Nice residual hops with great barley profile. Comes on with light citrus-flavoured hops on nose and finishes with light sweetness. Cask Days 2013.

A hazy, slightly orange beer with an almost medium and white head. The nose is slightly tropical, mangos, peaches, also more sophisticated nuancees, some pine needles and citrusfruits. Taste is almost dry and fresh, tropical fruity, biscuity malts, surprisingly intensive bitterness, strong but smoothly biting. Almost medium bodied, fresh and medium carbonation. The srongly bittery, easy and fresh Golden Ale, this is good beer.

BBE 31 Jul 2014 - Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and floral hops, citrus, crisp maltiness and hints of lemon. Taste is hoppy, fruity and floral with notes of citrus, malts and grass. Finish is dry, fruity and bitter with floral hops and citrus. Quite nicely balanced and tasty session ale. Great stuff.

Half pint, keg at Holyrood 9A.Next to clear golden coloured body. Missing head. Fresh grass and sweet fruity nose. Lemony hops joined by berries in the taste profile and supported by juicy malts. Fruity, mid-bitter end. Medium to thin bodied. Well balanced, refreshing and with fine drinkability, (Edinburgh 10.08.2013).

Bottle, 12C. 4.3%ABV. Slightly hazy gold, appears still beneath the white head. Aroma of lemon and orange blossoms, honey, grass. Light bodied, alive-feeling, lowish carbonation. Lots of juicy and zesty citrus flavours - oranges, lemons, some grapefruit and mandarin, also some mango. A little honey rides over stern pale malt. Firm bitterness. Classy and refreshing.

Cask at Wenlock Arms. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is earth, floral, herbal, creaminess, spice, grass and aprcot. The taste is crisp, earth, floral, light grass, grapefruit, pithy orange, apricot, straw and good level of bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth, tasty and damn refreshing. Good work! A great session beer.

0.66l bottle. This looks pretty much the same as the so'hop really; bright golden, blurry in the glass with a medium to small just off-white top. The nose is a bit lower though. It's fruity, I get tones of peaches, caramel and fresh hops. Definitely nice enough. It has a soft small prickling carbonation level and a somewhat thin almost watery lightdrinkable mouthfeel. The flavors are also really likable in this. Fresh grassy hops with a subdued fruitiness lurking in the background. Some soft caramel gives it a nice sweetness and it feels really balanced. If I had better access to this it could easily become my lawnmower beer. Of course I would first get a lawnmower and a lawn. 28.03.2013
