Pours dark cola brown with thick fluffy head. It goes downhill from here. Aroma is weak and sweet. Taste is also sweet, slightly tangy, and no sign of any roasted malt. Palate again is sweetness. Not even in the ball park for a decent dunkelweizen.

Naja... 12/8/10/7/11/7

Dark brown color; creamy head. Light aroma of caramel and spices. Dry and weak mouthfeel, almost no flavor, low bitterness. Bad.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A dark golden hazy beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Some cellar but mostly caramel and banana on the nose. Toffee, banana and cloves in the mouth, low on bitterness initially, but comes stronger towards the end. Full-bodied and effervescent. Toffee and banana in the end. A bit heavy on the metal too. Not my favorite dunkel weizen, but drinkable. 110128
