500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is sweet, grainy toffee with a little sulphur. Taste is sweet and sticky with grain and toffee. Icing sugar touches. A little grass.

Golden with a white head. Sweet malts, booze, a bit sharpe. Medium bodied. Finish is a little of the boozy side.

Bottle at home. Pours clear golden, nose is sticky toffee, hay, floral, taste is grassy, toffee, lemon, bitter. 6/7/6/6/6

Bottle from Luvians. Clear deep golden body with a white head. Fine carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of straw and daisies. Flavour of white bread and a hint of white pepper. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and doughy. Pretty good.

Aroma of sweet malts, straw, slight caramel. Flavour is sweet malts, a nasty sweetness. Rather typical and boring overly sweet Heler Bock.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, fluffy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally grainy and starchy, pale malty aroma, a touch of straw and honey, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly grainy and minimally starchy, pale malty with low residual sweetness, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart, a touch of straw and honey, minimally soapy overtones. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Low sweetness, a bit monotonous - not overly appealing.

Optisch goldgelb und praktisch klar. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone zeigt sich dabei flaumig und gut haltbar. Die Duftaromatik gestaltet sich mit getreidig-brotigen bis honigartigen Malznoten, einer hintergründigen Würze und zarten, heuigen Hopfenaromen sehr stiltypisch. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, passend feinrezent, süßlich, getreidig-brotig bis honigartig malzig und leicht grasig-heuig Hopfenherb. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein Körper mit guter Fülle, feiner Rezenz, geschmeidig-samtiger Textur, leichter Wärme und einem schönem Spiel aus Süße und leichter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch zeigen sich weiterhin leicht süßliche, getreidige, brotige und honigartige Noten, in die sich eine grasig-heuige, passend herbe Hopfenaromatik einbindet. Auch wenn einiges an Extrakt vorhanden ist, wirkt dieses Bier unglaublich harmonisch und leichtgängig - so entsteht auch eine hohe Drinkability. Im Nachtrunk wirken die Malzaromen schön nach und es dauert relativ lange, bis sich eine zarte, heuige bis herbale Hopfenherbe durchsetzt. Mein Fazit: Rein, harmonisch und fehlerfrei - ein Heller Bock auf höchstem Niveau!

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before March 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently malty, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, mirabelle and a touch of caramel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral, minimally grassy taste of honey, grains, some mirabelle, light fresh grass and hints of caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Bock, especially for a pale example.
