Dunkler, röstig cremiger Antrunk. Leichte Herbe, schokoladige Nuancen, trocken. Geringe Karbonisierung, kurzer, trocken malziger Nachhall. Okay, mehr vom vorhandenen wäre schön. 9/9/11/9//9

15/VIII/17 - 33cl can @ Help-Me-Get-to-10K-In-Time-Tasting 2 (home) - BB: 14/X/17 (2017-1238) Thanks to Tinus for sharing the can!
Clear dark brown beer, small aery beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: nice roast, caramel, chocolate, sweet impression, bit yeasty. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sourish start, which was rather surprising, lots of coffee, dry, bit hoppy, some cinnamon. Aftertaste: more chocolate, sourish notes, hoppy finish, very roasted with a fruity touch to it.

Can, courtesy of SinH4. Pours black. Aroma is light coffee and chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice, pine forest. Body is medium, a little burnt, quite roasty and bitter, with a lively but non dominating carbonation. Rather dry. Flavours of coffee and liquorice, mostly, with only a low sweetness. Good balance and very drinkable, but not incredibly exciting.

Bierbüchse: Literally black, medium-sized loose tanned head, that slowly collapses; moderate bitter-sweet nose of coffee and roasted malt, traces of caramel or bitter chocolate and vanilla detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, not really medium bodied, but soft ’n creamy MF; fruity-toasty finish with a lingering "roasty" bitterness in the aftertaste. As black as the CSU, but far better...

330ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, sweet-ish nuttily undertones. Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, notes of coffee, sugared espresso, dark chocolate, a touch of honey, nuttily undertones. Very nice.

Can from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. Great intense dar roasted nose. The beer starts fresh roasted, very soft and smooth, great round. The espresso-coffee-flavour is mild and smooth, very dry. Smooth mild in the aftertaste, moderate bitter with lots of chocolate and roast. Nice one. Sessionable soft and deep in one.
