Bottle. Cloudy pink with a white head that’s gone in a minute or so. Aroma is vibrant and fruity with damp hay and some cheese. Don’t think I would have guessed blueberry (not that that’s a bad thing) - jammy red berries, grapes, raspberry vinegar. Medium bodied, slightly slippery, moderate carbonation. Fruity (vague berries and lots of lemon), sour and vinegary with some stemmy and hard spices at the end. I don’t mind a little vinegar and this is not _too_ much, but with the lemony sourness and the lack of soft funk, it does rather boss the palate. Lovely aroma but a mite crude after that. [edit] And really the last third is a bit of a chore to drink.

12.68 oz bottle. Aroma is lacto, lemon, blueberry, dusty basement. Pours a hazy salmon-colored hue with a pinkish-white head that collapses into a big-bubbly ring somewhat quick. Taste is highly sour (10/10), mouth-puckering, savory, oaky, lemony, very tannic. The blueberries come through in flavor a little bit, but this is such lacto extreme sourness that it nearly obliterates all characteristics of the fruit. Really fucking good, though.

Bottle from the co-op. Pours a reddish amber color with a short lived head... Nose is ripe with fruity blueberry notes, lightly vinous, some oak. Swirling sweet and tart that reminds me of smarties candy. Huge sour taste, lots of pucker. Blueberries and wine barrel on the finish. Wonderful flavor. Really nice sour ale.

Almanac tap takeover at PreFunk Nampa Slightly hazy pink/purple color. Persistent off-white head. Very dry and tart and a hint of the berries left over after the sugars are wrung out. Very good.

Andrew loved this, so I was tempted to drink it on tap at BPP. Something about blueberries in beer. First it makes pretty pretty hues, like a ruby purple red with a golden base. Then it makes sour beer sour-er, amazingly. I feel like this is the tinglest, tartest, maybe most sour Almanac I have had but not off puttngly acetic. Very light and eventually refreshing. Just a mild fecal character on the nose, don’t phase me though. Blueberry mildly recognizable on the nose but just wild and sour flavor. Balanced with the light body a no strong acetic and I’m happy. Though not as happy as Andrew.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a slight purple hue with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour blueberry with some acid and underlying sweet grains. Flavor has sour blueberries throughout with a growing acid note and a touch of sweetness.

375 ml bottle share by Willrunforbeer, thanks for this Brian. Light violet color with some pink highlights when held to the light. No head at all. Aroma is big white wine notes with tannic oak and just a touch of berry.
The sour kick is more down played then a few of the other brews I’ve had from this brewer. Flavor is dominate in the white wine, oak through the center, ending in a blueberry skin hint. And really just a hint. The sourness in this batch was dialed back or the wine barrel took over. Lightly acidic, but not over the top. Either way it was much more drinkable than I was guessing it would be.
