Flaska från Beeratenu, Jerusalem. Smakar precis som jag minns Mohawk Black Rocket Porter. Lätt men välbyggd porter, rejält humlad. Smak av torv, tallskott, saltlakrits, svarta vinbärsblad och rostad malt. Inte någon modern BIPA men en trevlig humlad porter. Annorlunda men gott.

Bottle shared by DSG on 2/3/17.
Darl cola-mahogany. Clear. Mid-sized, light tan head.
Juicy, green, rather pungent hops exude grapefruit, wintergreen and light pineapple. Layered with treacle, fruity coffee and moderate ashy dark malts. It’s pretty standard for the style but doesn’t push resin on you nor is there any overabundance of roast. Clean, no alcohol.
Fruity and "light" for a black ipa. The ash, roast and char element is fleeting and overtaken by the juicy, citrusy, green, spicy hops. Ample, if somewhat fizzy carbonation with a slick, somewhat malty feel to it. Clean and quite drinkable. Despite the high rate of hopping it avoids excess resin.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Hazy, dark brown to black with a fluffy, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly roasty and quite fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and tropical fruits. Sweetish, slightly roasty, quite fruity and resiny taste of dark chocolate, coffee, pine and tropical fruits, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite roasty finish. Thin to medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle at a tasting. Aroma betrays some roast. It is also present in flavour, but not so much. Lots of beige head, also correlating with high carbonation. Well attenuated, light to moderate body. Citrusy orangey tangerine hops flavours combine well with light roastiness. Easy drinking. Very good.
