Medium amber, thick head, bright, some toast, some caramel. Ok, malts are kind of husky, though.

Tap. Amber color with tan head. Aroma is malts, bready, caramel. Taste is red malts, bready, caramel again, with a nice bitterness. Silky mouthfeel. Okay.

On tap at Dru Bru, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bready malt and lightly dry caramel. Flavour is pretty mellow, with toasted bread and a touch of dry caramel. Not a whole lot going on here, but it's clean and decently made.

Sampler at brewpub. The German stuff stood out compared to the American brews. For this beer, I can actually taste a difference. Hops are reduced in comparison to the the other stuff. There is some faint toffee. Has a sprinkling carbonation. Drying at the end with very low sweetness. Nice stuff.
