Blik 35,5cl thuis. Fruitig, citrus, wat piney, grapefruit, bitters, maltig, hoppig, wat bloemig. (6-12-2025).

Can from Asda. Citrus, malty and piney, classic IPA.

Heller Bernstein im Glas (also nicht so richtig pale). Auch beim Geschmack geht man eigene Wege. Bei den meisten aktuellen Pale Ales bekommt man viel Grapefruit, plus einen Obstkorb anderer exotischer Früchte und Bitternoten hart an der Grenze des Erträglichen. Hier ist das alles auch erkennbar, aber dann doch nur eine Randnotiz. Malz, Sherry, Trockenobst und eine florale Note stehen viel stärker im Vordergrund. Schön weich und für nur 5,0 % Alk. durchaus vollmundig. Gefällt mir.

Malt, pine, resin & citrus tastes with a bitter finish. Well balanced. Solid

Amber color, hoppy aroma. Flavor starts with a sweet malt backbone then finish with a lingering grapefruit peel and evergreen hops bitterness.
Classic, even with a marginally different version.
