From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow/orange with a little white head. Breadish aroma and malt note. Flavour is cornish, somewhat dry and with a little buttery note. Light acidic and subdued bitterness into the finish.

Bottle. Nothing special here. Creamy good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Very sweet malty aroma. Little sweet flavor, bitter finish, not well balanced beer. Watery palate and very soft carbonated.

Draught. Quite cloudy greyish golden colour. Stable creamy white head. Flavour starts off with a slight fruitiness, then it turns more crisp. Malty, flowery hop aftertaste. Not very bitter. Carbonation consists of small, but hard bubbles. Not overly interesting, but goes down quite well.

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden - almost light brown actually - with a speedy head, that really wants to get out of the bottle fast. Distinct malt character and also a distinct hoppy character without being very bitter. Interesting. 150101

An amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of straw and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, straw, and some hops. The end is dry and very much like roasted bread - a somewhat sweet bread.

Bottled. Pale yellow. Grassy nose. Dry and reasonably firm with medium bitterness. A credible pilsener.
