To create Guinness 0.0, the St James’s Gate brewers start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavours to ensure the distinctive flavour profile and taste characteristics of Guinness.
The resulting product is a stout that is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, featuring the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee

440 ml nitro can, alcohol free stout, from a grocery store in Brighton, consumed at home. Black colour, moderate but nice and creamy nitro head of good retention. Malty and roasty aroma and flavour, surprisingly similar to the "ordinary" Guinness Draught. Well, not identical, of course, but more than good enough when you need a n/a alternative.

Can at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. It's black with a thick, lasting creamy head - if anything, it looks evrn better than regular Guinness. The taste though is definitely different to regular Guinness - in place of the usual dry coffee and smoke there was a semi-sweet combo of berries and cocoa that was rather tasty. The only downside is with the mouthfeel - somehow they've avoided the thin-ness that plagues most AF brews, but however they've done it has made the beer a little gloopy in the mouth. Fortunately that did not detract too much from my enjoyment of it. In fact, it's possibly the best AF beer I've had, and is equally as enjoyable as the regular Guinness (despite tasting very different to it). Nice one!

This is very classic Guinness. Dark pour with that creamy tan head that sits perfectly on top. I don’t agree with the people that say it’s indistinguishable from Guinness Draught because this is noticeably sweeter. But the profile is very similar with light roasted malts, chocolate, a touch sour. The sweetness is the differentiation. This is my go-to NA beer.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 23/02/2025) in a Bella Coola hotel room from the grocery store. Clear dark brown with slowly dissipating nitro widget pour and nice light beige head. Mild watery sweet roast malt with an feint odd artificial flavouring note. Thin bodied, but okay non-alc stout.

0,44 l can. Pours very dark brown with ruby red hue. Head is tan, but much smaller than normal Guinness Draught. It also settles almost immediately unlike alcohol version. Apart from smaller head both look almost identical. Aroma is very light, a bit of toasty malt, chocolate and coffee. Very light aroma. Taste is low sweet and low bitter. Body is watery. Flavor is similar to regular Draught, just watered down, but unfortunately is has additional unpleasant flavor tat is really hard to pin down. Finish is short, regular Draught has a bit of additional bitterness that 0 ABV doesn't. It's like a watered down version of regular Draught which doesn't pack much taste to begin with. All nice and well, but that additional unpleasant flavor puts me off. Otherwise it would be reasonably drinkable.
