Our American Pale Ale is based on the American West Coast pale ale. This style makes use of American hops to give it its unique, upfront aromas. Refreshing and full flavoured, yet light in alcohol and body, Devil’s Peak American Pale Ale is intended to be enjoyed as a session ale.

Aroma: Pronounced, fruity hop aroma. Citrus and other tropical fruits. Balanced by medium levels of roasted malt aroma.

Appearance: Light brown in colour. Very clear with persistent, white head.

Flavour: Hop forward for the style. Light malt presence with low bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light body with low to medium levels of carbonation. Smooth and crisp with medium-dry finish.

Overall Impression: A hop forward pale ale with low alcohol – perfect for long sessions.

33cl Fles bij Braai Westerpark. Lichtgele kleur, witte kraag. Hoppig, licht moutig, bloemig, harsig, smaak is behoorlijk licht, vleugje passievrucht, hint van citrus, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Doordrinker.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grapefruit, bready pale malt, hop, some citrus. Flavour is moderate to medium bitter with low sweetness. Light body. Modest Pale, okay.

In einem Restaurant. Klares mittelgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlichem Schaum. Aroma: Malz, Kiefer, Hopfen, fruchtig. Geschmack: mittelsüß, Zitrusnoten. Ölige Textur, weiche Kohlensäure. Insgesamt ein solides Bier mit ausgeglichener Süße und Bitterkeit.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Yellowish golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild earthy tones with a bit bread too. Flavour is fruity, floral, herbal, some grassy and mild earthy tones.

330ml bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light boiled sweets. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, crisp, malty, slightly watery, light citrus fruit, faint hop bitter palate.
