Hazed orange-brown with a thin head. Has some sweet fruit in its nose, a little drier in its taste in this respect with some grain evident.

Thanks to Seanyfo for this beer. Best before date is 30.07.2014, Batch 539. Light amber colour. The beer starts mild, slightly sour. Nice "red" malty hints, very smooth. The main part is a bit watery, nice malty and a bit (for me) too sweet. The slight sourness in the end seems to be an infection - it doesn’t really fit into the whole picture. But as the beer was stored correctly and has still 9 month shelf-life, I don’t know. In the mouth stays a nice, smooth vienna-style malt-aroma with the typical bitterness of a nice ale. --> Interesting beer! 10/11/8/8

Hazy, clear red pint. Slightly sour aroma. Flavour is toffee but with a too-tangy sweet edge for my taste. It’s nice enough but unfortunately has quite a watery finish.

Bottle, gift from Tom. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of coffee, tamarind sourness and nuts. Flavour of toffee, cranberry and toast. Thin body with a watery, slick texture. Soft carbonation. There’s a weird sourness that spoils this a bit.

Cask @ JDW Elgin
Amber, clear, dense thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - soft fruity malts, light citrus hops, light caramel toffee
Taste - light caramel, fruity malts, hint of pear, touch of berry fruits, bit of toffee
Palate - light to medium body, bit oily, smooth palate. Finish - some toasted malt comes through, light fruity caramel, soft bitter hops, light bitter bit toasted lingering finish
Fairly good bitter - I though it was quite decent - it tasted fresh to me

Cask@Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some wood, sour berries and mild herbal notes. Flavour is sour wood, berries, wooden and some mild ripe fruits. Probably some sourness infection in this one... Need to re-rate when possibility is given.
