Clear red brown beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Watery beer! A little creamy malt and a little fresh orange and strawberry. Not a bad flavour but the beer is too watery.

Bottled. A dark nut-brown beer. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hops, caramel, and malt.

shared by papsoe. clear brown. small white head. aroma is quite bitter, malts. flavor is mild, malty, bitter. slightly flowery or citrussy. notes resembling the sourness sometimes associated with wood.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is breadish and dry dark malty. Breadish and malty flavoured. Bitter and toasted malty. Bitter and dry malty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours amber with a slight haze and a lacing off-white head. Nutty aroma, somewhat oxidized. Light body, nuts and burned caramel, a little licorice. Dryish finish. Decent. 030511

Cask @ Pot Still. Dark copper colour, white ehad. Aroma has some sourness and malts. Flavour is malty, sour fruits, bit metallic. Not too well.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, nutty, light roasted and caramel malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration,nutty, caramel, english licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110201]

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, light nutty, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100429]

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is gently hopped, and the flavour is hopped, toffee, and mildly bitter. Overall a reasonable quite bitter and hopped beer.
