Can thanks to Jim. Appearance - golden to copper with generous lacing. Nose - nice grapefruit and biscuit notes. Taste - more pithy this time, less grapefruit fruit, more pith. Lightly metallic and some biscuit, almost burnt bread in fact. Palate - creamy and light bodied. The finish is a bit too bitter for me. Cask at the 35th Luton Beer and Cider Festival. Pours pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of butter, flowers, yeast and straw. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Dry finish.

Cask @ Luton Beer & Cider Festival. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light yeasty and light hoppy. Flavor is medium and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 160218

Bottle at Granite City. It pours hay golden with a thick white head. The aroma is bread, straw, very grassy, leaves, light honey, hay and floral notes. The taste is crisp, dry, pretty bitter actually, clean, metallic twang, freshly cut grass, hint of soapy citrus and peppery spice with a firm and dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Tastes fresh and bright. Way more bitter than expected. Decent stuff actually.

Cask at the Crosse key, bank. A clear golden coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is sweaty grains, grassy, nutty malts, hay. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty twiggy malts, grassy hop, English earthy hop. Firm hop bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded,. Lingering grassy hop.
