Bottle at Free the Whales. Pours black with small tan head and coconut flakes. The aroma is toasted coconut and chocolate. Thick body, coconut, milk chocolate, cinnamon, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

Flaska från Köpenhamn. 2020? Svart med en liten nätt mörkbrun krona. Doftar kokostopp, rostad kokos, kryddigt av kanel, en gnutta kaffe, choklad. Snyggt. Samma i smak. Stor kladdig kropp. Kaffet kommer fram ännu mer. Mycket som pågår. Snyggt och gott i både doft och smak, men hade nästan hellre fokuserat på ett spår och delat upp smakerna på olika öl.

2023-04-30, bottle, courtesy of Sergey, 2 years old, 8-4-9-4-18=43
Dark, near black; viscous pour, with gentle fizz, but almost no head. Powerful aroma: dark chocolate cake with cacao dust, and roasted nuts, including peanut shells, and a touch of vanilla. The mouthfeel is thick, syrupy, almost oily; it starts with chocolate cake, brownie, aromatic coffee, caramel sauce; all this complemented by roasted almonds, coconut cream, vanilla; warming alcohol, but not boozy.
Excessively rich.
2021-12-18, power tasting at Matt's, bottle, 8-4-9-5-18=44
Black colour, oily, no head. Aroma of bread crust, raisins, chocolate, fruitcake. The fruitcake character is even more evident in the flavour, it's very sweet, syrupy, with chocolate candied fruit, moderate alcohol warmth.
Peculiar, but excellent.

Poured from bottle. Black with almost no tan head. Really pulls off a moist coffee cake flavour. As a beer, it's odd, but the objective of re-creating a coconut coffee cake pastry flavour, I think they nailed it. Vanilla, coconut, coffee, cinnamon, touch of banana (the one flavour slightly off - though this may help add to the sweet cake texture notes).

500ml (thx, Randall C.!) @ Matt's. Appearance: pours like an oil, very dark brown. Aroma: quite weird, like bread, flakes, very thick, some vanilla. Taste: very thick, along the same lines. Overall: I can see the Coconut Coffee Cake inspiration, but I don't really think it really worked in this beer.

Dark brown. Big stacks of coconut, light coffee, vanilla, and big rich chocolate malts. So this has massive sweetness and vanilla. Ok, tons of coconut. It's going all-in on the dessert thing but I'm kind of numb to so much of this over the top stuff at this point. Holy shit.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma smells like a fruited coffee cake: there's raw coconut, some red fruits, and cocoa. Flavour is very fruity, like a liquid fruit cake. There's a hint of coconut, but I don't get any other adjuncts. It's just boozy, cloyingly sweet, liquid fruit cake. I guess it's alright, but it's far from an exquisite imperial stout. Fun in tiny amounts, but impossible in larger amounts.
