Lasting, dusty pink head with tight bubbles on burgundy/amber body with chestnut highlights. Intense aroma of black currants and leather followed by candy-like fruit, notes of spearmint and barnyard. Carbonation is lively with a crisp, minerally mouthfeel, deep and round flavour dominated by red berries leading to smooth lemon-like acidity in the finish with a salty note.
Early release version on keg at MBCC 2021 was 6.5% ABV.

Very fruity and funky, quite some grapes and bitter tannins. More tannic maybe than the other version, I really like it.

Deep, dark red beer with a lasting dirty pink head. Aroma of funk, blackcurrant, dry wood, balsamic vinegar and a faint touch of acetone. Dry and tart fruity flavour with lots of funk and blackcurrant. Actually quite tart for a Penyllan beer.

Draught @ MBCC 21', Copenhagen. Pours hazy purple with a pinkish head. Blueberries, forest winegums - Haribo. Tart and perfumey. Some push pop similarities but very dry and tasty. Lovely.
