50cl can @ Gråsälstasting #2. Poured golden color with a white head. Aroma is grainy malt and some sweetness. Flavor similar, slightly sweet malty grainy with a slight bitterness. Basic, but does its job.

A standard bohemian pilsener with the beautiful hoppiness. It’s perfect to drink it with food.

500ml can, thanks to Finn. Bright, straw colour body. Airy white head, slowly diminishing. Spotty lacing on the glass. Noble, fruity hops in aroma. Blended flavour of mild fruity hops and pale malts. Tolerably sweet. Shy bitter endnotes. Soft in the mouth on a slightly oily palate. Decent lager and a fine partner with the salmon (shared with Eva, Tromsø 31.03.2010).

Bottle from Cesky Krumlov. Medium gold color, slightly darker than I expected. Decent, light foamy head that fades quickly. Pretty rich malt aroma. A touch of sweetness, even toffee and honey. Surprising. A touch of hops. Flavor is less malty, and ultimately less pleasing, than the aroma. Decent hops with a touch of melon-like fruit. A bit of that cardboard taste as well, though, which is slightly unpleasant. Light body. Relatively light carbonation. Finish is quite bitter indeed, just a touch of thin malt. Overall not very interesting. Easy to drink, but nothing I would go out of my way for.
