Die Tettnanger Perle als Hopfengabe und die Original Offene Obergärung verleihen dem Bier besondere Geruchs- und Geschmacksaromen. Hazy pale gold with a frothy, white head. Banana overtones, overripe apples, yeasty dough. Taste is faintly sweet up front, accompanied by a distinct tartness at the finish. Lingering clove. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Alcohol well hidden. Pleasant if slightly unusual Weizenbock.

0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', 7.1% abv, best before May 2024. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy, quite fruity aroma of lots of banana, clove, pear, mirabelle and honey. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy, rather fruity taste of massive banana, clove, pear, mirabelle, honey and light grains, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, minimally boozy finish. Medium body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely Weizenbock, astonishingly fruity, quite outspoken. Could only be a little thicker.

500ml bottle. Hazy, orange, golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, pear, hints of clove, a touch of mustard seed; slightly ephemeral sweet- and fruitiness. Taste is minimally bready, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, notes of banana and clove, a touch of pear, low residual sweetness, hints of fruit acidic tartness, some bitter hop. Minimally creamy, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Surprisingly dry, relatively spicy - a bit unconventional but profitably so.

Bottle shared at RBBWG 2023. Hazy yellow color, no head. Smell and taste wheat, light banana, softly smooth sweetish wheat. Quite nice.

Pours milky yellow. Small, nearly no white head. Scent is banana bubblegum, simple and straight forward. Taste is sharper, bit more biter than expected (pleasant surprise to me). Banana bubblegum quickly takes over, ends quite sweet and sticky. Very categorical, so great in terms of styletechnicality, but doesnt convince me on a personal level.

9/XII/23 - 50cl bottle @ BBGG winter 23-24, BB: 2/IV/24, Brau Nr: 13134 21:61 (2023-1156) Thanks to jefverstraete for sharing the bottle!
Cloudy blond beige beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of overripe banana, very yeasty, malty, grains, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness up front, banana, very malty, a bit sweet, decent enough. Aftertaste: lots of bubble gum, banana, yeasty. Tastes more like a Hefeweizen to me.

Fläschle (Dank an Stefan!): Hazy to cloudy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head, moderate sweet and mildly bitter aroma of ripe bananas and wheat, faint traces of nutmeg and peaches; robust sweet and slightly sourish flavour, pretty soft, medium to full bodied; traces of yeast in the slightly lingering sweet finish with aromas of bananas and wheat, followed by a mild acidity. Good...
