Ljusgul klar vätska med massvis med bubblor. Vitt storbubbligt skumtäck. Ljus deg och våt säd i aromen. Tunn maltighet med tvålflingor och parfym i beskan. Tunn och vattnig sammanfattar det hela.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. No particular hop aroma, fairly neutral. Light body, dry and crispy with a solid late bitterness. Forget about the fancy, kiwi hops, they simply don’t come through. This is simply a nice, hoppy Zwickel. 110722

--Keg at SBWF. -- Hazy pale golden, mid sized head. Grassy nose with white grapes. Bone dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grass and mild sulphur, hay and bread. Long bitter finish.

(Draught, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2021) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grain, grass and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, grain, grass, hay and a balanced herbal bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, a bit generic. Enjoyable.

On tap at the Black Sheep Arms, Visby. I was excited when I got this. It had a nice soft apple aroma but otherwise clean lager smell. Concerns arose when it was essentially flat with no carbonation. But then the taste was nice and clean, felt like a solid lager. Then everything fell apart with the aftertaste. What I initially thought was a good almost pilsner like bitterness, ended with a horrific chemically ending that was impossible to shake. Had to ask for a different drink in the end - must be an infected batch. Let's hope for next time.
