Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a small dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some heavy vanilla notes and light roasted coffee notes with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some strong vanilla notes and some roasted slightly bitter coffee notes with residual sugar notes. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable but vanilla is a bit strong.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Wayne! Pours a deep brown to black with a small ring of brown foam around the rim of the glass. Big vanilla and marshmallow fudge brownie aromas on the nose. As it warms it does get a bit sweet on the palate, but good fudgesicle and vanilla flavors throughout. Espresso and cacao towards the finish with the abv being hidden fairly well.

16oz can. Poured a smooth, black color with a medium sized brown head. Very similar to what I remember the old version was. Aroma was roasted notes, lots of boozy vanilla. Moderate booze, only slightly overpowering. Light sweetness, malt, vanilla, brown sugar.

Can from the brewery: pours oily black with a light brown head. Aroma is vanilla and Chocolate. Taste is like drinking a load of gooey chocolate milk. Syrupy. Large and smooth. Light hints of bourbon and bitterness. Not my favorite style.

16oz can pours an opaque cola brown/black with some sticky, brown head. Nose is cool, vanilla, maple, malt, licorice, some booze, brown sugar. Smells good. Flavor is sweet, but good, maple, vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, malt, licorice. Finishes full bodied and sweet... but surprisingly drinkable.
