Hop City is a fictional place based on a true story. It's the 1980's and our old time friend Marcelo's dad is living in Miami. The first thing Marcelo the elder did after getting off the rickety boat he took to escape Castro's rule in Cuba was to buy a pink suit. He quickly found a job at one of the largest nightclubs in the city, which also happened to be the first one serving craft beer. There, under the neon lights, people were dancing away sipping on cold brews in the sunset. Hop City - packed to the brim with tropical hops - is our ode to Marcelo's dad and the golden era of Miami.
