Superficial tasting at company beer tasting. Almost clear amber body under a solid, big tan head. Mild and delicate aroma, malt, caramel, hint of acidic berries, Belgium yeast and mild wood. Taste like aroma, not strong and overwhelming but delicate and well-integrated. Not very typical Rodenbach style. Actually it becomes more and more complex for each sip, this was really nice.

Sample at Max's Belgian Fest pours a garnet amber, legs, no head. Nose has big malt and dark candy, cherry is more lozenge. Flavor has some very distinct baking spice. Cherry is cough droppy now. Highly sweet. Medium bodied.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Hazy reddish body, off-white head. Sweet aroma, dried figs, some red fruit. Sweet malty taste, some red fruit, odd citric touch, quite a bit sweet... bit messy all in all.

750 ml bottle from Liquor Mountain. light cherry and vinegar in the nose, malty caramel, green apple. Deep red-brown with a tall, fine head. Flavor is sweet, strong, tart. Bready malts, caramel, cherry, apple, light balsamico, touch of creamy vanilla. Nice stuff. I wish it was a bit more sour, but I like that they tried something new like this

Bottled (from Alko Web). Reddish amber colour with a small head. Aroma is tart and rather acidic with some rowanberries and mild alcohol. Flavour is rather acidic with some berries, mild wood and some toffee. Not as nice as the other Rodenbach's, this is just way too sharp on the acidity.

75cl bottle shared with Eric during Soph's birthday visit 2022. Hazed deep brown appearance, small off-white head. More tripel than rodenbach... smooth, sweet.. not much sourness coming through unfortunately.. ok but lacks a nice distinct flavour profile.

On tap pours out redish brown topped with a small head. Nose is candy cherries and some tartness notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet cherries and a touch of tartness.
