Bottle, small bubbly brown head, opaque very dark brown colour, lots of coffee in aroma with some earthiness and a smokey hint, flavour of coffee, dark bitter chocolate, dark bread and a hint of plums in the back, pleasant lingering bitterness. Very nice and highly drinkable.

Keg at Fermentoren, CPH, 17/11/22. Black with a tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, toffee, charr, mellow roast, coffee bean. Taste comprises coffee, dried fruit esters, earthy roast, cocoa sprinkle, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough porter.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen (17/11/2022) - black pour with a thin tanned ringed head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with notes of coffee, cocoa and brown sugar, medium body, dark malty lingering finish. Good stuff.

Growler fill from Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and hazelnuts. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Spotty brown head left a still black body. Malt, liquorice & coffee aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & clean with a short finish. Malt, coffee, liquorice & berry tastes with a bitter hoppy finish. Deece.

Bottle @ Patricks. Pitch black body under a nice, dense, lacing beige head. Strong aroma of dark malt, oats, licorices, coffee and alcohol. Taste is sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, coffee, bitter hops and slightly boozy alcohol. Fine body with long lasting, strong aftertaste. Nice, old school, straight forward imp. coffee stout (porter) rarely seen these days.

Bottle, at Patrick's. It's more or less black in the glass, with a small beige head. The aroma is quite intense, roasted, burnt and coffee-ish, with a hint of licorice and alcohol. It's full bodied, yet feeling a bit thin, with a soft carbonation and a little warmth. Roasted malts, burnt malts, coffee and some dark chocolate in the flavor. Quite bitter, feels like a good dash of it is caused by the malts. Licorice, some prunes and caramel too. Lasting finish. Quite delicious this one, would've liked more body though. 221003
