Bottle at home. Jet black pour with a tan head. Nose is intense coffee, some vanilla, chocolate and slight boozy hints with some cinnamon. Taste is sweet, boozy, chocolatey, coffeish and spicy. Full bodied, rather sweet all in all, but not cloyingly so. Softly carbonated, quite a sipper.

Bottle. Full body, medium carbonation. High bitterness, lots of roastiness, lots of coffee, also a bit of astringency, but overall just rich chocolatey maltiness. Very good.

375ml bottle. Poured brown in color with a thin off white head. Chocolate aroma, cocoa, wood, nuts and more wood and some coffee in flavor. Kinda odd feel.

0.375 l bottle from 'Estate Wine - Beer Paradise', 2021 vintage. Pitch black with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of praline, coffee, lactose and hazelnut. Heavily sweet, malty, quite roasty, minimally fruity taste of dark chocolate, praline, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla, lactose and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Typical pastry stout, overly sweet and not very deep, still fairly enjoyable.
