(Draft at Biererei, Berlin, 15 July 2025) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate, raisins and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, dark bread and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced porter. Nice one.

Can from Beer52. Pours black with small beige head, some circular retention. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, berries, demerara sugar, liquorice. Liquorice really comes through in the flavour along with sweet malts, roast and coffee notes, brown sugar, herbal and grassy bitter finish. Medium bodied, slightly dry mouthfeel. Its a good porter.

Keg at Fidelity Bar, Dublin, 05/11/23. Black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, light roast, toffee, brown sugar scattering. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, charr, light roast, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay porter if veering a little on the sweet side for my liking.
