Cask at Moor Vaults, Bermondsey, 31/01/20. Light black with a well presented tan head. Nose is dried fruits, cocoa powder, light ashen tones. Taste comprises raisins, toffee, roast malts, dried fruits, brown bread, light charr, chocolate biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Decent cask porter.

Keg at the London vault. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a a halo of beige head. Aroma is earthy roast, low salt, farmyard, salty roast. Little thin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wishy washy chestnut, hazelnut, woody roast, little dried coco. Palate is semi sweet, little thin, coco, moderate.

Cask at the Moor Vault - Bermondsey. Pours clear brown with a frothy, white head. Pretty tasty if basic, with soft roast, mild dry cocoa, subtle earthy bitterness, restrained sweetness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with light dryness, more mild cocoa, roast. Good stuff, quite drinkable.
