Our Crabby Pommier Cyser is a unique twist on our traditional Mead, carrying the same dedication to quality and authenticity. This exceptional Mead boasts a 12% ABV and maintains a low residual sugar content, similar to our standard offering. However, the Crabby Pommier Cyser stands out due to a special ingredient - apple juice. This isn't just any apple juice, but juice freshly squeezed from apples grown right here on our ranch. These apple trees, planted nearly 90 years ago by the great grandpa Emile Pommier, have been nurtured by the same pristine Diorite valley water that we use in our Mead. The blend of different apple varieties lends a unique, one-of-a-kind flavor to this beverage, making it a true testament to the rich heritage and natural bounty of our ranch.

Pale, with slight haze. Sort of a basic mead aroma, and on the palate it's got some odd notes, like, ok it's been described as urinal puck and there is some chemical. Also some apple, and a touch of honey.

200mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden, no head. Nose has some urinal puck, light ginger, and a touch of honey. Flavour has watered down ginger, some urinal puck, and apple core. Almost no depth, just a sad, sad beverage. Poor.

Poured from 200mL bottle. Chill hazed white blonde with super minimal white head. I think these meads just don't hold up with time (I gave a quick tick rating during a private tasting of fresh batch with the brewer on untapped of 3.5 which was probably generous, but this is nothing like what I tried). A bit phenolic, feint honey, even feinter apple, bleh.

200mL bottle. Pours clear blonde with a minimal white head. Smells like a urinal puck, but with more honey. Flavour has thin honey, bitter apple skins, and a sterile urinal puck quality that persists.

Bottle found in Cranbrook, 12% abv listed, decanted. Pale straw body with a slight peach hue, no carbonation. Soft apple on the nose along with some slight marzipan and macadamia nut. Taste is honey and apple, slight coconut oil, ends smooth and warming. Well made and easy to drink, could be more bold.
