473ml can from B&M Bargains. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Plenty of sweet dark berries, with some added maple syrup character in the background. There was also some tastiness and a vanilla oak edge, before a warming, sweet, finish. Fine.

440ml can from Home Bargains, Aylesbury, Bucks. A black coloured pour with a very thin beige head on top. Sweet blueberry, maple, chocolate, aroma and taste. Actually not so sweet with a slight tartness. Pleasant well balanced stout.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A glossy black pour with a then beige head; strong maple syrup aroma - slightly smokey; somewhat milky consistency with lots of sweetness from the maple syrup balanced by a tart fruitiness from the blueberries and perhaps black cherries and damsons, with some licorice and leather thrown in for good measure; then a dry, sour, fruity finish with lingering maple. A complex sipping beer.

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Very dark with very little head. Its blueberry notes are very strong in its aroma and aftertaste, but it's also sweet tasting so the maple influence is not lost. It's mildly sticky textured too.

483ml can from Home Bargains - Deep murky brown body, thin top. Smoky nose to start, maple comes through, berry at the back. Taste gives the maple syrup and blueberry pancake vibe, albeit a bit artificial. Quite nice to be fair.

Can shared by Erik. Rather thin body, med-high carbonation. Fully malty, with moderate coffeeish sourness, light astringency. Med-light bitterness and sweetness. The blueberry and maple are med-light, while coffee is intense, moderate chocolate, light toffee. Drinkable, good, but not great.

Can, a takeaway from the PoW, Farnborough. Initial malty coffee quickly followed by sweet - synthetic - blueberry and underlying maple hints. Dark and inky. Foamy tan head soon fades. OK so a bitter espresso core. Low lying maple with the blueberry sweetness more evident into the finish. Amps up the sweetness. Nice but taste-wise it's all over the place before settling down. Medium bodied. Slick. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Enjoyable if very sweet.

Can. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and cake, with estery and herbal touches. Dry flavour of blueberries, complemented by sweet notes of cake, caramel malt and yeast, and bitter touches of roast and hops. Dry and cakey aftertaste. A complex but well-balanced and tasty beer.
