A rich, sweet stout with classic malt characteristics with a bold, unique twist. This beer tastes like you crammed a fat stack of blueberry pancakes into a pint glass and smothered it with maple syrup. Channel your inner lumberjack, because it’s in for a real treat.

Can, a takeaway from the PoW, Farnborough. Initial malty coffee quickly followed by sweet - synthetic - blueberry and underlying maple hints. Dark and inky. Foamy tan head soon fades. OK so a bitter espresso core. Low lying maple with the blueberry sweetness more evident into the finish. Amps up the sweetness. Nice but taste-wise it's all over the place before settling down. Medium bodied. Slick. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Enjoyable if very sweet.

Can. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and cake, with estery and herbal touches. Dry flavour of blueberries, complemented by sweet notes of cake, caramel malt and yeast, and bitter touches of roast and hops. Dry and cakey aftertaste. A complex but well-balanced and tasty beer.

Can, 6.0%. Very sweet and syrupy aroma. Almost black colour, seems unclear. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet and citric with a mild but distinct blueberry note. Sweet molasses finish. Roasted, almost smoked aftertaste.

Half a litre of draught at home on 2nd Apr 2021, came in a plastic litre bottle from LowCostBeers, my son having the other half litre. Dark bodied, tanned topping. Nice semi-sweet maple syrup feel over the blueberry flavour and aroma. Nice!

Black, thin beige head which quickly dissipates. Aroma of blueberry and maple syrup with a roasted malt and slight dark chocolate background. Taste is malty at first then the adjuncts come in nicely, followed by roast, then a sweet tangy and mild-bitter finish. Smooth body. This is very good.

Bottle, huge thanks Ryan! Blackish body, off white head. The name doesn't lie! Blueberry, chocolate and (lighter) maple in the aroma, along with some raisins and peach jam too. Quite lovely! Big blueberry-maple taste, sweetish, lean and simple, but there's some roast too to counter it. Not too sweet, pretty wonderful - the extra 2-3 years might've helped it some I guess!

Black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of malt, blueberry and maple. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, maple and subtle blueberry and strawberry. The finish is sweet with a blueberry maple syrup aftertaste. Decent overall.
