Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, small and creamy white head with a good lace, burnt malt and sweaty traces in the moderate bitter-sweet nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, nearly full bodied, not overly soft; a slight tartness is detectable in the grassy-hoppy and caramelly finish. Quite O.K., but could be better rounded...

Bottle at Frisches Bier. Dark amber, low head, floaties if you add the bottom. Relatively neutral caramel nose. Light coal smoke, toasted caramel, dry dark caramel sweetness, light fruitiness, chewy, mellow, ok balance, a bit one note.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, malty aroma, notes of honey, hints of caramel, a touch of wallpaper paste. Taste is sweet-ish malty, minimally floral and fruity, notes of honey, hints of caramel, a touch of mirabelle. Well balanced, not too sweet - quite nice.
