Black malt gives roast aroma and taste and the Pale malt contributes a sweet biscuity note. Delicious cane sugar and caramel adds more sweetness. At 7.4% abv this beer is very full bodied, sweet and warming. Challenger hops give a fresh dry hop character and moderate bitterness and the Goldings adds a more aromatic and spicy note giving quite a complex beer. Rich, warming and satisfying.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark auburn colour with small to average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, sugary and slightly spicy, caramel malty and minimally fruity aroma, notes of caramel, some treacle, hints of cherry, raisin, toffee, a touch of rye malt-like spiciness. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally toasty and spicy, caramel malty, mildly bitter and minimally fruity hoppy, notes of caramel, some toffee, a touch of cherry, raisin, dried fruit; minimally dry, papery and minimally alcoholic finish.
Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rather sweet but still balanced, fairly rich but not overly complex - nice.

Zapach bardzo ładny karmelowy i słodowy, trochę ziemiste. Piana nietrwała ciemnobrązowe, ciemnorubinowe. Smak karmelowy, słodkie, ziemiste trochę. Nisko nagazowane, chociaż słodkie, trochę śliwkowe. Ciało średnie. W odczuciu w ustach trochę torfowe. Alkohol niewyczuwalny. Ogólnie bardzo dobre i słodkie takie deserowe.

aroma is sweet malt, and caramel. Flavour is again, big on the malt, and caramel, with slight apple notes, and sweet figs. Finish is quite malty, with a good hop kick. Really nice beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sticky malt, strong caramel toffee, brown sugar, touch of dried dark fruits including figs. Flavour is quite sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with a sticky mouthfeel. A bit too heavy on the sticky sweetness for my taste.

Неплохой Шотландский эль. Чувствуется вкус карамели. Пиво достаточно карбонизированно . К ужину стоит попробовать.
