light amber color. Banana bread, cherries and apricots minerally nose. Body is a bit weaker, not as malt focused. Fairly bitter, but found it not as interesting.

A slightly darker copper in my glass with another tall and lovely head. The aroma comes in with sweet malt and grassy hops. A fairly full body on this version. The grassy hops are much stronger and fortified by a sweeter malt profile. The finish is long and bitter.
My initial impression was that this was the exact same beer mis-labeled. But as I sipped it, I really began to notice the maltier and happier profile. The hops are more intense and I actually get grassy notes along with a hefty bite in the finish. The malt is fuller and sweeter. I expected the unfiltered version to be somewhat cloudy but that was not the case at all.

Baeren Autumn 2021 Non-Filtered California Common 5.5% Matte orange brown with 1cm of beige foam and a bready biscuity peppery tobacco leaf maltiness, decent herbal hop bight with a very carbonic medium body. I think the carbonation on this is a tad aggressive for my taste.

Less lemon, maltiness is less crisp and sharp. Softer. Still very nice

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Deep brown-orange, just slightly hazy. Tall, thick head. rich, nutty malt nose. toasted bread. very nice. Rich, nutty malt flavor, slightly more fruity and estery than the filtered version, and that kind of gets in the way of the delicious malt. Finish is toasty, bitter, herbal. Slightly more bitter than the filtered too. Very good but the filtered is a touch better.
