Kinder Scout - the highest point of the Peak District, about 10 miles north of Buxton, was in 1932 the scene of a mass trespass by hundreds of walkers, some of whom were imprisoned for their actions. The led, arguable, to the formation of the National Parks and later, ther Countryside Rights Of Way Act. Opening the land up to the people, with the Right To Roam, enabling forever, people to enjoy and cherish the wildest areas of Britain.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear mahogany colour, rich lively head. Mild earthy, leafy, toasty nose. Mid dry with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Earthy toast and spicy leafs. Mid bitter finish. Unassuming. nicely drinkabkle bitter.

Can from Systembolaget. Lovely nutty, grassy, homey aroma. Gold colour. Just what you want from a British bitter - perfect.

Copper with a light tan head. Floral, light citrus, oak, toasted malts, earthy. Medium bodied. Finish has a light bite. Nice bitter.

Smell of earth, sweet malt. Hazy cognac colour, small off-white head. Aroma of earth, sweet malt, faint raisins. Soft carbon. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Nice body.

Can (4.2 %from Alko webshop). Deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, wooden and mild mild non-sweet syrupy tones. Flavour is floral, wooden, fruity, some mild resiny and nicely bitter elements to it.

Rocky white head on a copper coloured body. Toffee, ashy & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a cloying back. Malt, red berry, caramel & toffee tastes with a long bitter finish. Great can of Best.
