Rocky off white head on a reddish brown body. Pine, resin & malt aromas. Medium bodied, lively with a smoother back. Pine, resin, berries, dank & malt tastes with a bitter hoppy finish. That's good.

Can at home, from an online peddler, 13/05/22. Moderately hazed amber with a good sized light beige cap. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, grass, caramel, biscuit crumb. Taste comprises orange zest, grass, biscuit, pine nip, dusty hops, caramel, toastes grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Decent for the style.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy brown, big, stable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of mushroom, mouldy chestnut, walnut, old brown bread, earth, mocha. Taste has sweetish prune, dried apple; brown-bready malt body, bit nutty, quite earthy, touch of mocha and umami mushroom. Earthy hoppy finish with nuts & brown bread. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Just a tad too dirty but otherwise good.

Can picked up from Etre Gourmet webshop Grez-Doiceau Belgium and consumed at home Sunday 8th January 2022 cooking Slow-Cooked Lamb Shoulder with Fino Sherry Oregano and Green Olives, Loz has made an Olive Bread, I have made Potted Shrimp, we have listened to Radiohead OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997-2017. Pours murky brown with an off white head, a little hoppiness, streaky, but with a nice light maltiness, a very good example of an American Brown Ale.

Can at home, New Years Day 2022. Pours a light brown and fairly clear. Aroma is citrus, roasted malts and caramel. Taste is perfect for the style, citrus infused roasted malts and light caramel, assertive bitterness, more burnt sugar, shit the bed, this is a cracker

On tap at Kings Arms, 1/3 pint shared with Finn. Off-white head blanketing the glassware. Hazy brownish body. Brown malty aromas, hints of ripe orange. Okay blend of caramel malts, biscuit and orange fruit. Malt-fruity endnotes. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing to a certain degree. (London 15.11.2021).

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy amber/brown body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, red berry and fruit pudding. Flavour of biscuit, fig and lightly roasted malt. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. This balances the sweet malt and bitter hops really nicely. Truly excellent.
