On tap at the beer bistro.
Dark, hazy brown pour, with a small to medium head. Upfront a big smoked malt aroma, with some bacon, and charred wood. The hefe notes are these, subtle clove, and banana, but they are really over powered by the smoke. The mouth feel and carb were fine, maybe the carb was a little low. The finihs was all smoke, wood notes, some cloves, but really all smoke.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some smoked and mild wheat, roasted and toaste tones. Flavour is wheat, caramel, some smoked and toasted tones wtih mild herbal tones. Somewhat messy and kind of homebrewish.

On tap in Berlin on Sunday 14th May 2023. Muddy brown, smoky malts, off-white head, not really my thing, but it's not too smoky compared to some I've come across.

19-03-20 // 330ml bottle from Stumpf. Murky brown. Beige head. Smoky woody nose. Rich body with banana yeast notes. Some malt sweetness and a mild to solid smoke malt note. Good.

many thanks for this beer to Koelschtrinker. Piwo ladnie wyglada i przyjemnie pachnie wedzonka. Szkoda, bo raczej zawod, Przegrywa z kretesem z wszelkimi wedzonkami pszenicznymi z Bamberga, z Schlenkerla, Spezial i zwlaszcza z jakimkolwiek nafciarzem Brokreacji

On tap at Braufactum, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very smoky, smelling like smoked meat, some caramel, and a little ketchup. Flavour is indeed like ketchup, with BBQ sauce, gentle smoked meat, and gentle sweetness. Ketchup and BBQ sauce on the finish. This is an odd one for the style.

Picked up from Edeka Stein Park Freising and consumed at home Saturday 22nd June 2019. Pours murky puddle brown with a light beige head. Smoke, old leather and a some sticky fruits but with a little tang also a little caramel adds to this. Very soft in the mouth, good beer, I really like this, decent smokiness. It's not bad.

A decent beer, mild smoke, but the wheat part almost just gives it a haze flavour as well. dresden beer fest
