Power tasting at Matt's slaughterhouse, can
Dark brown colour, near black. Aroma of coffee upfront, then toasted coconut, chocolate, vanilla. Good body strength, moderately sweet, the coffee adds an earthy dimension to the chocolate base.
Good, but less interesting than the version without coffee.

440ml @ Matt's parents' place with a scenic view. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: tons of coconut and coffee. Taste: along the same lines, on the thin side. Overall: ok.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 18/10/21; bb 18/10/23). Near black with small tan head. Aroma has a bit of coconut (not as much as the Bjossi Bolla). Chocolate and mild coconut notes with a touch of coffee. Flavours aren't as bold as the Bjossi Bolla, but better balanced overall. Enjoyable.

440mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is full of toasted coconut flakes, cocoa, and coffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of coffee, toasted coconut, and light cocoa. Like the Bjossa Bolla, this is mostly coconut forward, while the coffee tempers the sweetness nicely. Not a complex imperial stout, but it's a tasty pastry impie.

13/XI/21 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 (Waagnatie, Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1354) Thanks to the Brewver crew and other beer buddies for sharing today’s beers!
Clear deep brown beer, creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: oh my, all tonka, sweet, lots of caramel, coconut, vanilla, sugary, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice stuff, little sweet, lots of coconut, tonka beans, more coconut, good roast, bitter touch. Aftertaste: more roast, alcohol, bitter, lots of chocolate, cocoa powder.
