One of my favourite German breweries.Amber colour with head who stays.Aroma is is toasted and roasted and mild smoked taste of hops and caramel nice malt and crispy fresh finish.

Pours clear copper colur with a dense head. Aroma is bacon, smoked sausages and campfire smoke. Flavour is sour smoke and peat. Well balanced and more-ish.

Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med låg finbubblig skumkrona. Aromer av rökta charkuterier. Något kladdig maltighet men med mycket karaktör och framförallt ännu mer röksmak.

Bottle at home. Copper pour, off-white head. Nose is big smoke, with some malty sweetness and light dried fruits. Taste is mild malty sweetness with a rich smoky depth. It shows bread, bacon, toffee and faint herbals notes. Closes with a smokey finish, has a light body and soft to average carbonation.

50cl Fles van De Bierkoning. Licht amberkleurig, vuilwitte kraag. Moutig, rokerig, medium zoete geur, fruitig, mineralen, grassig, degelijk bitter, naar de finish iets dun. Lichte body. Prima.

Clear, Amber color and a white head. Nose is Smokey, smoke ham, malty. Taste follows the nose, decent smokey, bonfire, malty and decent Caramel

Draught, 5.1% at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Good smoke aroma, slightly caramelly or even buttery. Almost clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is smokey with a mild paper note. Good clean bitterness. Clean lager finish. 737318

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada. Malty, caramel, smoke, easy drinkable. Smooth. Tad sweet. Medium bodied.

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko (thanks) at Ambasada. Zagreb. Clear amber, small head. Mild to moderate smokiness, toasted and caramel malts. Good balance. Malts dominate the palate. Nice sweetness, medium body, quite meaty. Nice smokey malt profile. Moderate carbonation, light slightly sweet finish.
